Children adore Christmas
CHILDREN at Childs World Early Learning centres across the region have been enthusiastically embracing the festive season in a way that is uniquely their own.

Admissions director Alison McCallum-Harding said from selecting their favourite outfits to posing proudly in a beautifully- styled Christmas setting, each child was given the opportunity to express themselves and celebrate in a way that felt meaningful and comfortable to them.
“At Childs World, Christmas celebrations reflect the diversity of the children and families within the community,” she said.
“Recognising that traditions differ from household to household, the centres have thoughtfully embraced inclusive and respectful ways to acknowledge the season.
“By doing so, Childs World ensures that every child feels valued, included and celebrated.
“Celebrations can be used to bring people together, to create a feeling of belonging and to develop a sense of community.”
In addition to these inclusive celebrations, Ms McCallum-Harding said Childs World management was proud to provide a range of much-loved Christmas traditions that create lasting memories for the children.
“These include a traditional hot roast Christmas lunch enjoyed by all children, bringing the warmth and comfort of a festive family meal into the centres,” Ms McCallum-Harding said.
“The excitement continues with a spectacular live Christmas show, where children delight in meeting Santa’s elf and the gingerbread man, sparking laughter, wonder and festive cheer throughout the service.”
Each centre also hosts a children’s Christmas party, with a visit from Santa.
